Agenda for the Week of April 28-May 2

Students at James Workman will begin taking the California State Tests on Tuesday. Testing will continue through Wednesday and Thursday. There will be no testing on Friday. Testing will resume Tuesday of next week. Sixth grade students will test in Language Arts on this Tuesday and Wednesday, and test in math this Thursday and next Tuesday. Good luck!

CONGRATULATIONS!



The first annual Middle Schools of the Desert Film Festival was held in La Quinta this evening, at Colonel Mitchell Paige Middle School. Students from our class entered two of the three festival categories (Academic and Short Film), and supplied 10 of the 41 submissions in the festival as a whole. Workman students dominated the Academic movie category, and swept ALL of the awards!

Third Place Academic Movie: Katie B. and McKenna B.
