Agenda for the Week of April 7 - April 11, 2008

Hello Students! Please find your Agenda listed in the space below. All homework for the week so far is shown. "TBA" is an abbreviation that means "To Be Announced." If you see TBA, then you know that I will tell you what the homework is in class.




Language Arts: Periods 2 & 6
Monday: None.
Tuesday: Take home a section of the newspaper. Choose an article (try to choose one with a picture or other visual), and cut out the WHOLE article (including picture). Read the article and highlight the main ideas (important information). Be ready to make a poster in class tomorrow!
Wednesday: Worksheet (p.14-15)
Thursday: Double-sided worksheet on popular media and finish your newspaper poster project. DUE TOMORROW.
Friday: None.





Social Studies: Periods 3 & 7
Monday: Period 2 ONLY - Redo or finish your Geography Practice Map. All Periods - p.33 Worksheet to Review
Tuesday: Period 2 - Finish the entries for "Zeus" and "Mount Olympus" in your Picture Dictionary. Color your visuals. Period 6 - Finish the entries for "Zeus," "Mount Olympus," and "myths" in your Picture Dictionary. Color your visuals.
Wednesday: Storyboard for "Persephone" (you must use between 6 and 8 boxes on your worksheet or in Pages).
Thursday: Storyboard for "Cyclops Cave" (you must use between 6 and 8 boxes on your worksheet or in Pages).
Friday: None.
